If I boot from Live Disc, will it overwrite my current operating system?
No, that will only happen if you try to install it to your Hard-Drive. You can run it Live (Hence the name Live-Disc) from the Disc and Memory.
Tnx. How can I uninstall the one I installed incorrectly?
There shouldn’t be a need to do this. Simply edit the Virtual Machine settings of the current Virtual Machine and correct it. If it’s still problematic you can simply delete it and start over.
I have Windows Vista 64bit system. Should I choose Lunix as a guest operating system when I install Backtrack 4?
Yes. Your Host OS (Windows Vista x64) has nothing to do with your Virtual Machine settings in VMWare. As I did in the tutorial, you need to select Linux as the Guest Operating System.
